Welcome Coal Train!

Fullerton Flyers Revealed Mascot (2005)
FULLERTON, CA: After months of hiding the coyotes identity, the Fullerton Flyers finally showed off their pride and joy. Coal Train, a friendly, upward standing coyote, made his debut appearance on Saturday, May 7th, 2005 at the Flyers Select-A-Seat Day at Goodwin Field. Coal Train was escorted by two Fullerton motorcycle police officers, and Miss Fullerton Runner-up, Rebecca Pulido.
After entering Goodwin Field on a trackless train, Coal Train ran the bases before doing a little dance and entering the stands. He was greeted by hundreds of cheering fans and proceeded to sign autographs and pose for pictures.
Coal Train, the muscular (yet steroid free) coyote, prefers to wear his engineer outfit to Flyers events.
His favorite pastimes include hitching rides at the Depot in Downtown Fullerton, watching Fullerton Flyers games, and howling at the occasional full moon.
Coal Train will be present at all Fullerton Flyers home games this season and is also looking to get involved with his community.
Coal Train is available to visit schools, hospitals, after-school programs, businesses, and libraries.
Those who are interested in having Coal Train present at their events and activities should contact his agent, Nicole Faires at 714-526-TEAM.
