| * | This will be the 16th annual celebration of the Fourth of July Community Fireworks Show and Festival organized by the City of Fullerton. The keyword is festival, in the sense that the organization of the event is rather structured compared to prior 4th of July celebrations.
It will take place on Monday July 4th, 2004 at the Fullerton High School Stadium (Berkley & Lemon), and will run from 5 p.m. to 9:30p.m. At which time a fireworks display will conclude the evening. The firework display is choreographed to America's favorite patriotic melodies. The Fair itself will feature carnival games and novelty concessions, and include food booths run by (non-profit) service organizations. The event is Free to the public. There will be live R&B and swing music performed by the "Soundbytes". There will also be contests where patrons of all ages compete for prizes donated by Fullerton's business community. Parking available at the Lemon & Chapman, Wilshire & Harbor and Berkley & Harbor structures. Remember that Lemon and possibly Chapman will be blocked off. |
